Terms of Service
Tether.82 Last updated: 19 September 2026 Version: 2026-09-19
These terms are between you and NO82 SOCIAL WORLD LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15480675), registered office 20 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU ("we", "us").
You accept them when you create an account, when you choose a password for an account we have invited you to, or when you first use the service, whichever comes first. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
1. What the service is
Tether.82 retrieves performance data for social media pages you connect, presents it, and uses AI to draft post copy and written report sections.
It is a tool for professionals. It assists with work; it does not replace your judgement about that work.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 and acting in the course of a business. Tether.82 is not offered to consumers.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly at info@tether82.com if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.
Do not share one login between people who should not see the same data. Each account sees every page connected to it. Where your plan allows it, add people as members of your account instead; each member signs in with their own credentials and can be removed by you at any time.
3. The pages you connect
You confirm that, for every page you connect, you are authorised to access that page's data and to have us process it on your behalf.
If you connect a page belonging to a client of yours, you confirm you have that client's authority to do so, and that your own agreement with them permits it. This matters: we act on your instructions, and we rely on your having the right to give them.
We may suspend access to a page if we are told, or reasonably believe, that this is not the case.
4. Acceptable use
You may use the service only for its intended purpose: analysing pages you are entitled to analyse and drafting content for them. You must not:
- use it to collect data about individuals, to profile people, or to build a dataset for resale;
- upload material you do not have the right to upload, or material that is unlawful, defamatory or infringes anyone's rights;
- attempt to access another customer's data, probe or test the service's security without our written agreement, or interfere with its operation;
- resell or sublicense access, or use the service to build a competing product;
- use automated means to extract data from the service beyond the export we provide.
We may suspend an account that breaches this section while we investigate, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
5. Licence and ownership
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for your business for as long as you have an active subscription.
Your data. You own the data you connect and the material you upload. You grant us a licence to process it only as needed to provide the service to you, which ends when your data is deleted under section 10.
Generated content. As between you and us, you own the drafts and report text the service generates for you, subject to section 6. We claim no rights over anything you publish.
The service. We own the service, its design, its prompts, its report templates and everything about how it works. Nothing in these terms transfers any of that to you.
6. AI-generated content
Drafts are produced by an AI model. They may be inaccurate, may misread the data behind them, and may not suit your purpose.
You must review anything generated before it is published. You are responsible for what you publish. We are not liable for content you publish, whether or not the tool drafted it.
7. Third-party platforms
The service depends on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and our data provider. Those platforms change their APIs, change what they make available, and occasionally stop making something available at all. Where that happens we will do what we reasonably can, but we cannot guarantee continued access to any particular figure or feature.
Image links provided by those platforms expire. We copy images into our own storage to keep reports intact, but where an image has already expired before we can copy it, it cannot be recovered and must be replaced manually.
Figures shown in the service are those reported by the platforms, on the day we retrieved them. Platforms revise their own numbers, and a figure retrieved on one day may differ from the same figure retrieved later.
8. Availability and support
We aim for the service to be available 99.5% of the time in each calendar month, measured over the month and excluding planned maintenance (announced at least 24 hours ahead, outside UK business hours where practical) and outages caused by the third-party platforms in section 7.
If we fall below that in a month, you may ask within 30 days for a credit of one day's fees for each full hour of downtime beyond the target, up to 25% of that month's fees. This credit is your sole remedy for downtime.
Support is by email at support@tether82.com. We respond within one UK business day, and the same day for anything that stops you using the service.
9. Plans, fees and billing
Plans. The current plans and prices are shown on our pricing page. At the date of these terms they are Solo at £150 a month or £1,500 a year, and Agency at £600 a month or £6,000 a year, plus VAT where it applies.
Subscriptions renew automatically. A monthly subscription renews each month and an annual subscription each year, on the same day of the month or year you started, until you cancel. We take payment by card through Stripe on each renewal date. Where we have agreed with you in writing to invoice you instead, invoices are due within 14 days.
Founding rate. Where we have offered you a founding rate, it is fixed for the period stated in that offer and then moves to the standard price for your plan at your next renewal after the period ends. We will remind you at least 30 days before that happens.
Failed payments. If a payment fails, we retry it and email you. Your access continues for up to 14 days while we retry. If payment has not been made by then, your subscription ends and section 10 applies.
Price changes. We may change our prices on at least 30 days' notice by email. A change takes effect at your next renewal after the notice period. If you do not accept it, cancel before that renewal and the old price applies until then.
Refunds. Fees are for the billing period in which they are charged. We do not refund partial periods, except where we end the agreement under section 10 for a reason other than your breach, or where we have failed to provide the service and not put it right within 14 days of your telling us. Nothing here affects any right you have by law.
Trials. Where we agree a trial with you in writing, it is free, lasts the period agreed, and converts to a paid subscription only if you choose a plan and provide payment details before it ends.
10. Ending the agreement
By you. You may close your account at any time from your account page. Closing it stops your subscription renewing; access ends immediately and you are not charged again. If you would rather keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, cancel the subscription from the billing page instead and close the account when it ends.
By us. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, if you do not pay, or if we are required to by law. Where the breach can be put right, we will say so and give you a reasonable opportunity to do it first. We may also end the agreement for any other reason on 60 days' notice, in which case we refund any fees paid for the period after it ends.
Your data afterwards. You can download a copy of your data from your account page at any time while your account is open, and we will provide the same export on request for 30 days after closure. Thirty days after closure your data is deleted from our live systems, as described in the Privacy Policy. If you close the account by mistake, tell us within those 30 days and we will reopen it with everything intact.
11. Data protection
Our handling of personal data is set out in the Privacy Policy. Where we process personal data on your behalf, the Data Processing Agreement applies and forms part of these terms.
12. Cookies
The service sets only the cookies it needs to work: the cookies that keep you signed in, a short-lived cookie that protects the connection flows against forgery, and, for our own staff, a cookie that records which customer account they are viewing. We do not set advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not use third-party analytics on the service. Error monitoring runs server-side.
13. Confidentiality
Each of us will keep the other's confidential information confidential and use it only for the purpose of this agreement.
We will not disclose your data, your clients' identities, or your commercial information to any other customer.
14. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, and because this is a business-to-business service:
- We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill, or for indirect or consequential loss.
- We are not liable for decisions taken on the basis of figures or drafts the service produced.
- Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Where a change materially affects your rights we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email, and you may cancel before it takes effect if you do not accept it. The version you accepted is recorded on your account; the current version is always at tether82.com/legal/terms.
16. General
These terms, the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Agreement are the whole agreement between us about the service. Neither of us may assign it without the other's consent, except that we may assign it to a successor to our business on notice to you. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stands.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
